📣 Hear hear! A progressive / democratic Shadow Cabinet would help us to oppose Trump's policies by allowing us to more effectively address & broadcast about the needs of the People & our environment - helping us to spotlight the wrongs of the incoming 'one Party rule' Administration/ Congress.

As legacy news media & oligarch owned social media are clearly failing us, a smart Shadow Cabinet (or 'Shadow Government') would also help to better INFORM the public, AND help keep more activists and leaders engaged. It would also help us to be more ready to correct course when (eventually) this growing fascist government / system finally falls.

LOVE Pete Buttigieg for President! I'd definitely vote for him!! He seemed like the only calm, sane, adult voice in the room during the election as well as for the past year or two.

To whom could you send this and have it taken seriously? I think it's great.

I'm not sure. I'm going to post it a few places and see what traction it gets. You can share it also.

Excellent idea, and good choices. I'm on the Buuttegieg band wagon, but also love Sally Yates as AG. I believe you took the whole Court from my favorite 4:00 program, tho!

I think we all need to engage more with the trumpers we know - yes. we all do know at least a few. Someone - somewhere - was talking about a friend of theirs who was talking about how much better the upcoming administration would be for her business. The speaker asked "how?" and listened to the answer and then asked another "who, what, where, why-type" question and continued in that way forcing the speaker to explain her reasoning. Of course, there was no real reasoning but the speaker eventually realized that. Not sure I am calm enough to do that, but am going to attempt it. No judgement, just information ... that first part will be difficult for me.

Happy New Year to everyone. "Buckle up. It's gonna be a bumpy ride!"

I agree with your Court comment -- I just couldn't think of other smart legal types and didn't have more time to spend on it.

Both the public and Congress would benefit tremendously from a shadow cabinet. A little more sunshine and a little less shade would be welcome.

LOVE the whole shadow Supreme Court. LOVE Buttegieg following the prez. Awesome.

It's a perfectly sound idea and needed in our country. If we had this sort of entity in place, we might not be where we are today.
