Ditto Ann and Gayla! As a French and Education major - almost never having worked in either field - I appreciate your 'splaining current events and trends thru your History/Econ/PolySci lens. I nearly always know that I support (or not!) current events and policies, but can't explain why in a larger context, and you most often supply that for me, so thanks a LOT for that. Apparently it's not enough to say, "but, the Dear Leader is stupid!" Happy New Year!
